The only reason I took this picture was to show you a close-up of the amount of water that was still ponded in many of the ceiling light panels on the north and south ends of the building.
The gym was totally untouched, and became a central location for all of the undamaged equipment and classroom materials. Library tables were quickly set up with signs on them for each classroom or area of the building. It's my understanding that everything not needed for the kids' to finish the school year over at the church will remain in storage here.
Most of the tables and boxes in this shot are from the library.
I'm not sure what this volunteer was doing, but the picture reminds me to note how impressive it was to see so many parents working so tirelessly alongside the teachers and school staff to conduct the cleanup on Friday and Saturday.
Nearly all of the videos were wet, wet, wet.
A shot through the kitchen window of the courtyard. What you see here is the large pile of roof material ripped down from the roof and piled on top of one of the metal garden tables in the courtyard. You can also see some of the pipes that were torn from the roof. I don't know if these are gas lines, but I do know that the gas and water were shut off in the building because the gas line was ripped from the roof.
The back of the school didn't appear, to me anyway, to be too bad off. The main things that I noted were all of the debris scattered about.
